Compact and safe - that is what characterizes this series. From safe I/O processing of a few signals to complex drive monitoring, the SMX Compact solves any safety task safely and compactly.
If things do become more complex. With its integrated communication interface (/4x or /DNM), the SMX Compact offers the right answer for demanding safety tasks.

In combination with safe fieldbus communication and in conjunction with an F-Host, SMX Compact (/4 or /DxM) solves tasks such as safe position monitoring, area detection, multi-axis functions and collision monitoring. The communication with any master control is done by safe fieldbus systems like FSoE or PROFIsafe. It is also possible to react and create a safe state within 3 ms without bus communication.
