Safe kinematic soltuions

The SSCU series offers a freely programmable and configurable safety controller with an integrated scanner interface. With up to six connected scanners, it offers the ideal platform for applying the safety functions required for AGVs as well as for area monitoring in the production area and in robotics. Special program modules for steering angle and speed-dependent area switching or status-dependent activation of monitoring areas simplify the implementation of even complex tasks.

With a cycle time of just 4 ms, the series guarantees a fast response to dynamic processes. Programming, parameterization and diagnostics/validation are simple and transparent thanks to the tried-and-tested SafePLC².

The basic version of the series has 16 safe inputs, 8 safe outputs and 4 encoder interfaces for optional connection of ABZ, HTL, SINCOS, resolver, SSI, HDSL or EnDAT2.2.  
The SSCU/1 also has an EtherCAT interface with FSoE master function.
