SCU Master
The open programmable and configurable safety control units for the EtherCAT environment are available in different variants.
High safety standards must be observed when humans and robots work together in the same area. Any risk of injury to humans must be completely eliminated. The development of new safety components for safe human-robot interaction is one of our main areas of research.
The SCU series offers safe master and slave devices. Fast response, convenient and clear programming, optimum and transparent integration of drive safety speak for themselves. In addition to the standard functions for input, output and logic processing, special functions for time and functionally demanding applications are integrated. Deterministic program runs guarantee defined response times. With the optional fast channel processing, very fast, guaranteed reactions (4 ms), e.g. to a light curtain, are also possible. Synchronous sampling, fieldbus communication and processing enable the monitoring of variables from kinematic models of a drive group, e.g. TCP monitoring, etc.
